Justin Pugh on Giants’ guard options

I’d have to go buzz his film from last year but I feel like he’d be a plug and play, sleep well at night answer for any team looking for RG help. https://t.co/8emIlsv3kn

I’d also mention Will Hernandez he was playing the best football of his career last year before injury. Come home Will!

— Albert Breer (@AlbertBreer) March 11, 2025

So, where will they pivot at guard?

As far as the Giants signing a right guard, at this point they think the prices are too high for what is out there.
We will see what develops.

— Paul Schwartz (@NYPost_Schwartz) March 11, 2025

I am becoming more and more convinced the Giants should bow out of the Russ/Rodgers bidding. Too much money for too little gain w/guys who are well past their best years. Sign a cheaper bridge/placeholder and make your big QB splash in the draft. #NYGiants

NFL News: Former #Chargers WR Josh Palmer, who has been a big name in free agency, lands with the #Bills. A new weapon for the MVP. It’s a 3-year deal worth $36M with $18M guaranteed - per Ian Rapoport

Big Blue United (@bigblueunited.bsky.social) 2025-03-10T19:09:13.573Z

That is a LOT more money than I thought Josh Palmer would command.

Safety Talanoa Hufanga off the board

The Broncos and S Talanoa Hufanga have agreed to terms on 3-year contract worth up to $45M, including $20M guaranteed at signing, per me and @tompelissero.bsky.social

That would be a big domino in the quarterback market.

Adam Schefter says that he is not as confident the Browns select a QB 2nd Overall, as he was earlier in this process.

Big Blue United (@bigblueunited.bsky.social) 2025-03-10T16:38:09.241Z

If true, this could be good news for the Giants.

Defensive tackle B.J. Hill back to Bengals on 3-year, deal, per Schefter. Thought he might be in line for a return to the New York Giants. #NYGiants

Ed Valentine (@edvalentine.bsky.social) 2025-03-10T16:35:50.491Z

Hearing Saints CB Paulson Adebo might be the leader for the Giants right now - for anyone here. Working on confirmation.

(@artstapleton.bsky.social) 2025-03-10T16:30:01.000Z

I have been on the Paulson Adebo train for a while. Young, up-and-coming cornerback. Fits where the Giants are.

Nice deal for ex-Giant offensive lineman

The #Buccaneers have agreed to terms on a three-year, $22 million deal with G Ben Bredeson, sources tell me and @Sara_Walsh. Bredeson started 17 games for Tampa last season. Gets $12.5m guaranteed now in a deal done by Joe Panos and Justin Schulman of @AthletesFirst. pic.twitter.com/uYV5EM58Lf

— Mike Garafolo (@MikeGarafolo) March 10, 2025

In my view, the Giants never should have let Ben Bredeson leave last offseason.

As of Sunday evening, the Giants were waiting on Aaron Rodgers, per sources. He was assessing all his options with the negotiating window set to open today at noon.

Rodgers is expected to talk with the Seahawks and the Steelers are also an option.

Another suitor for Sam Darnold?

The Steelers are expected to make an offer to pending free agent Sam Darnold, per source.
